Member of Editorial Board/a2ru (Invitation)
Invited by Yvonne Huoy (University of Nevada Las Vegas) to be part of the editorial board for the a2ru publication, Tradition Innovations. This new peer-reviewed open access eJournal—collaboratively brought to life by the international Alliance for the Arts Research Universities (a2ru) network, and a2ru member UNLV—provides a multimedia forum to address this and connected questions by exploring how creative work, teaching/mentoring, and knowledge creation/research are linked and in conversation with one another.
September
Final submission for book, Creative Resilience, for double-blind review. Have made it through two rounds of reviews to date. This is a book project of Kelly M. Murdoch-Kitt (University of Michigan) and Dr. Denielle J. Emans (Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar). Creative Resilience will be a published collection of edited case studies, project ideas, exercises, short essays, and visual narratives. The editors will weave together accepted contributions with their own analysis and discussion.
