Accepted into the Embark Incubator through NextCorp for BaseCampus application

Inducted into the first cohort of the Embark Low-Tech Incubator program through NextCorp (with Research Assistant Professor Nicole Trabold, PhD, LMSW, Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition (College of Health Sciences and Technology). Our project idea, a smartphone app for college students to learn about and cope with stress through curated content called BaseCampus, allowed us to advance to the second and final round. Embark helps non-technical founders go from idea to revenue. We are currently in the development of a prototype for a minimum viable product. We were awarded $7000 to go toward the development of the app. Application and Interview process/funding awarded.
NextCorps is a non-profit helping innovative technology companies launch and grow.

Won UCDA Award of Excellence (blind review) for Health-e Journey, the smartphone application relating to back health, possible due to a $50,000 grant from NMCIC (National Mutual Chiropractic Insurance Company) in collaboration with Spine Care Partners.

Student Ethan Constant won the student category at the MODEfest for his motion graphic “When Clancey Goes to Bed” in the Covid Category Student Erin Bush was a finalist at the MODEfest, for her app created in GRDE 302 Interactive II, in the LGBTQ+ category
